"Land of Tomorrow"

In the year 2249, the "Shallow Water Fan Thorny Fish" comes to life in the special exhibition of the Formosa Marine History Museum.

The remains of this sleeper, which had been buried for over 200 years, were unearthed from the Ba Chi Men Fishing Port next to Keelung's Zhengbin. The marks, carbonization, and mineral filling of its bones are like a chronicle of the ocean, faithfully recording the flourishing and decline of this rich sea.

The creative team searched through documents and discovered that due to overfishing in 2022, massive food waste on the consumer end, global warming and increasing water temperatures, the marine ecology was extremely imbalanced. Even 105 species of fish have become extinct in the fifteen years that followed...

Using DNA recombination technology, the team has replicated the vanished species of fish and will relocate them to Keelung.
